Zukunftsmoderation!

We facilitate your future

Future Facilitation is the art of exploring burning questions now with a view to the coming years and growing into the answers together in exciting organizational development projects!

We are a change management service provider based in Freiburg im Breisgau and Berlin / Germany. Designing and facilitating strategy and participation projects and thus making it easier for companies and cities to grow into their best possible future is our "daily business" and our passion.

In addition to myself, Henrik Langholf, we are a network of colleagues and experts that has grown through many projects. Each one of us has a special expertise in strategy, organizational and cultural development, futurology, sustainability, bionics, circular economy and water resource management.

Having worked across different sectors since 30 years, I have decided to make my limited time resources available primarily to water-conscious companies, associations, networks and administrations in view of the threats posed by an ever-warming world for us, our children and future generations. That means, if you are a player in public water supply, water management, a water technology company, agriculture, a civil society organization in the water context or a village, city or district that is facing new challenges in water management and needs to successfully bring together a wide variety of stakeholders: Give me a call! Be it simply to get to know each other and to "know about each other", or for the development of a specific project.

I would be delighted if we could make your "change" from current challenges to innovative solutions easier for you and your colleagues - that's what I'm here for!

Yours sincerely, Henrik Langholf

Wasser in Bewegung

„Water-conscious companies, associations and administrations“

What is meant by this?

The adjective “water-conscious” is taken from the term “water-conscious urban development” (see https://de.dwa.de/de/wasserbewusste-stadt.html). In a broader understanding, we refer not only to the actors of urban development, but also to companies that develop and produce water technologies, farmers for whom water is not everything, but without water everything is nothing, associations and NGOs that promote networking, knowledge transfer and awareness of water-related issues, as well as any other company that reflects on its water requirements at the site and in the supply chain with a view to the coming years and decades and optimizes the corresponding processes.

Another reference is the “National Water Strategy” (see https://www.bmuv.de/download/nationale-wasserstrategie-2023) adopted in 2023, which calls on all social actors to “raise awareness of water as a resource”.

The development of “water awareness” is an extremely complex topic. It combines hydrological, geographical, water management, climate science, agricultural, legal, political, regulatory, entrepreneurial, health, personal-emotional, strategic and participatory process-related issues. The Zukunftsmoderation approach is therefore to create professional spaces in which the stakeholders, as each of them is the holder of a part of the knowledge, can learn from each other. The focus is on solving the increasing problems and challenges with a broader horizon in a goal-oriented and innovative way.
